Suspect In Garden District/Uptown Robberies Surrenders

A man wanted for two armed robberies in the Uptown and Garden District of New Orleans is biding his time in jail for now.

Police say 35-year-old Torian Douglas was accompanied by his lawyer when he surrendered last night.

He's accused of robbing a man at a drive-through ATM and an elderly woman as she was preparing to enter her home.
