Floodwaters and other storm problems can lead to you and your pet or pets getting separated.
To try and make sure that is not a permanent situation the Louisiana SPCA will host a Walk-In Microchip Clinic on Saturday August 19th from noon until 4 p.m. You don't need an appointment and the cost is $10 to have the chip implanted.
The SPCA office is located at 1700 Mardi Gras Boulevard in New Orleans.
