A new luxury paddle-wheel boat is on a 23-day trip up the Mississippi River after leaving the Big Easy on its sold-out maiden voyage.
The 166-passenger American Duchess was christened with a bottle of bourbon at the Port of New Orleans before setting sail yesterday.
Officials with the American Queen Steamboat Company say the boat was built in Louisiana and will make stops in five states, including Minnesota.
