HUD Secretary Ben Carson is praising the public-private partnerships that helped give birth to two mixed-income public housing developments in post-Katrina New Orleans.
Carson was in town yesterday to tour the Bienville Basin development located in the Treme neighborhood and Columbia Parc on St. Bernard Avenue.
Columbia includes an early learning center, charter school and a medical clinic.
