City officials are admitting they still don't know what the pumping capacity currently is in New Orleans as the potential for flooding from Harvey looms.
It was anything but adequate earlier this month when torrential rainfall led to extensive flooding in areas of the city impacted by turbines and pumps that weren't operational.
Mayor Mitch Landrieu says the city is still more vulnerable than it should be, but says the pumping system is in better shape than on August 5th.
