Two of four Louisiana state troopers are being disciplined for apparent side trips they took while headed to a conference in San Diego.
Media reports prompted an investigation into stops made by the four to the Grand Canyon and a resort and casino in Las Vegas, and in the process racking up thousands of dollars in overtime.
Two troopers received letters of reprimand and counseling while the disciplinary action against the other two troopers is pending.
