The Housing Authority of New Orleans is getting its financial affairs in order as another budget year quickly approaches.
Its 2018 fiscal year begins October 1st with a spending plan totaling $194 million. Yesterday, the HANO Board opted to stick with cutting positions and drawing more than $850,000 from its reserve funds to keep the budget balanced.
