Nick Fitzgerald accounted for four touchdowns as Mississippi State rocked number-11 LSU, 37-7, in Starkville.
Fitzgerald threw for 180 yards and two scores, and added 88 yards and two more TD's on the ground. Aeris Williams rushed for 146 yards as the Bulldogs piled it on late.
MSU improved to 3-and-0 and opened SEC play with a win.
Darrel Williams rushed for a 10-yard touchdown to provide the points for LSU. Danny Etling threw for 137 yards as the Tigers dropped to 2-and-1.
