A man facing charges in the murders of three people is apparently dead by his own hands.
Jefferson Parish authorities say 29-year-old Jatory Evans was found hanged in his Gretna jail cell late yesterday afternoon. He was pronounced dead about an hour later.
He was accused of stabbing his pregnant ex-girlfriend, shooting and stabbing her mother and shooting her father in the head before setting their house on fire.
