Getting around Louisiana in your gasoline-powered vehicle is continuing to get cheaper by the day.
At midweek, AAA reports the statewide average price of regular continues its now month-long decline after that significant spike after Hurricane Harvey. Regular is now averaging $2.28 a gallon, down a nickel from a week ago.
The fuel has dropped 12 cents over the past month.
