An accused New Orleans cop killer who smeared his own feces on his face during jury selection Wednesday is incompetent to stand trial.
That was the ruling Thursday by the judge presiding over the first-degree murder trial of Travis Boys for the killing of Officer Daryle Holloway. Prosecutors are expected to appeal the decision.
District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro says the city has "sunk to a new low" by allowing court proceedings to be hijacked by an accused cop killer.
