A study of Census information by the financial website 24/7 Wall Street finds Louisiana is high on the list of state's with the most divorces.
It reports the Bayou State's divorce rate last year was 20.8 per 1,000 married people, the fourth highest in the nation. Financial stress is said to be a key factor in the high rate.
Arkansas, Idaho and Nevada outpaced Louisiana in the number of divorces in 2016.
