Bond for a New Orleans woman charged in the death of her boyfriend now stands at $200,000.
Velancia Kelly was back in court yesterday after the charge against her was upgraded to second-degree murder in the death of 35-year-old Travis Thomas, a father of seven.
Kelly, the mother of three of the children, was initially arrested for attempted second-degree murder after allegedly stabbing Thomas in both legs during an argument on October 13th. He died on Sunday.
