A suspect is in custody for the early Wednesday morning murders of two men on the campus of Grambling State University.

The Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office says Jaylin Wayne, a freshman at GSU, was arrested last night and is facing charges of first-degree murder. He's accused of gunning down Earl Andrews, a senior at the school, and Monquiarious Caldwell.

Investigators say the shooting was sparked by an argument between Andrews and Wayne and say Caldwell was apparently shot while trying to help Andrews.
