The future of NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans is being further solidified.
Governor John Bel Edwards said there are new investments and expansions occurring at Michoud where efforts are underway to assemble and build projects needed to take astronauts further into space and eventually to Mars.
There are also plans to train people for employment in the aerospace manufacturing sector at Nunez Community College.
