Nomination Of Peter Strasser For U.S. Attorney Expected

A partner in a New Orleans law firm and a former federal prosecutor could land the post of U.S. Attorney for Louisiana's Eastern District.

The New Orleans Advocate reports that Senator John Kennedy is expected recommend to President Trump that Peter Strasser be nominated.

If he is, Strasser still must pass muster with the Senate Judiciary Committee and then the full Senate.
