Early Voting For November Runoff Begins A Day Early

US-VOTE-ELECTIONS

Early voting is getting underway today across Louisiana.

It comes a day early because of the Veterans Day holiday on Monday when votes can't be cast.  Secretary of State Tom Schedler predicts a scant ten percent turnout.

A larger percentage is expected in New Orleans where voters are electing a new mayor, while in Baton Rouge there is a runoff election for city court judge and a tourism tax proposal on the ballot.
