Governor Joining Crusade Against Hazing (VIDEO)

Efforts to bring an end to hazings by fraternities at colleges and universities in Louisiana is getting the support of Governor John Bel Edwards.

He met Thursday with the presidents of LSU, Southern and other schools to discuss what's been done and will be done to prevent hazing.

LSU has taken the lead in the anti-hazing effort, suspending some fraternities after the death of pledge Maxwell Gruver, who died in September with a blood-alcohol level of .495, six times higher than the legal limit for driving.
