A Mississippi man who kidnapped a dancer from the French Quarter and left her for dead after she jumped out of his car on I-10 in Metairie is headed to prison for life.
A judge in Gretna sentenced 26-year-old Adam Littleton yesterday.
The victim, 19-year-old Jasilas Wright, died when she was hit by several vehicles in 2015 after leaping out of the car to get away from Littleton because she didn't want to return to Texas to engage in prostitution.
He was convicted of second-degree murder because Wright died as a result of the kidnapping.
