It'll be raining pay raises for hundreds of New Orleans Sewage and Water Board employees.
The city's Civil Service Commission approved a flood of pay hikes Monday for about 300 workers that still need an okay from the city council. The increases are expected to top out at 15 percent for some employees and positions officials have had a tough time filling.
The S&WB has been under fire since early August because of unexpected flooding from a rain storm.
