The first woman to be mayor of New Orleans will be elected tomorrow.
The city is holding a runoff election pitting LaToya Cantrell against Desiree Charbonnet, both of whom answered questions last night during their final televised debate. The latest polling shows Cantrell with a significant double-digit lead.
Current Mayor Mitch Landrieu was term-limited from running again and has not endorsed either candidate.
