Louisiana State Police and New Orleans Police say a missing 7-year-old boy was found safe Monday after his mother was gunned down Sunday night.
A Level II Endangered/Missing Child Media advisory was issued for Kevin Gibson after his mother was found in the the 3800 block of North Prieur St. She had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead when authorities arrived.
State Police say Gibson was found a few hours later at another home.
