A Pearl River couple is in deep trouble with the law after being indicted by a St. Tammany-Washington parishes' grand jury for child sex crimes and obstruction of justice.

Court officials say 39-year-old David Hammond Jr. of Pearl River is accused of first-degree rape, sexual battery of a victim younger than 13 and 800 counts of child porn production.  His wife was indicted for indecent behavior with juveniles and seven counts of child porn production.

The crimes were allegedly committed, in most cases, against the same victim between November 2015 and December of last year.
