A Franklinton man has been indicted for charges stemming from a crash that took the life of a Mississippi man.
District Attorney Warren Montgomery said that a Washington Parish grand jury indicted Joshua Cole Stinson, 36, on a charge of running a stop sign, resulting in the death of Curtis Simmons of Tylertown.
The accident happened on July 12 just north of Franklinton near the Mississippi line.
Stinson is accused of failing to yield at a stop sign, striking Simmons.
