The search for a Good Samaritan who disappeared in Lake Pontchartrain in his attempt to rescue two men from a car is over.
The body, said to be that of Frank Williams, was recovered yesterday afternoon. He entered the water early Tuesday night after the vehicle went into the lake not long after the occupants were asked to leave a nearby restaurant because they were causing a disturbance.
Both occupants were rescued, but one of them died, and the other was last reported in critical condition.
