DeMarcus Cousins put up a huge double-double as the Pelicans fought off the Nuggets 123-114 in New Orleans. Cousins finished with 40 points and 22 rebounds, while adding four assists and four blocks.
Cousins attacked Denver's depleted frontcourt as New Orleans earned the win without the injured Anthony Davis.
The Nuggets didn't have big men Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap down low to battle with Cousins. Gary Harris led Denver with 24 points in defeat. The Nuggets fell to 13-and-11 overall, and 3-and-9 on the road.
