(WVUE/FOX 8) Entergy has reported widespread outages in LaFourche and Terrebonne parishes.
There are 12,000 without power in Terrebonne Parish, and 19,000 without power in LaFourche Parish, according to Entergy's outage map.
According to the Terrebonne Parish Emergency Management Facebook page, the outages were caused by a transmission line issue.
Entergy officials are working to restore power, and hope to have all power restored as soon as possible, according to their website.
