A former investigator with the district attorney's office for St. Tammany and Washington parishes is facing up to ten years in prison.

68-year-old Michael Cotton admitted guilt Wednesday to a federal bill of information that accuses him of soliciting sexual favors from three women in their 20s to whom he offered favorable treatment in the criminal justice system.

He's scheduled to be sentenced in March.
