Grammy award winning trumpeter Irvin Mayfield could wind up in prison.
He and his business partner were indicted yesterday by a federal grand jury in New Orleans on 19 counts that include charges of wire fraud and money laundering.
Mayfield and Ronald Markham are accused of steering more than $1 million from the city's library board to the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra that Mayfield founded to benefit NOJO and Mayfield's lifestyle.
