Bradley Beal scored 26 points to help the Wizards get past the Pelicans 116-106 in DC.
John Wall added 18 points and 10 assists, while Mike Scott tallied 24 off the bench. Washington used a 36-point first quarter and 32-point third quarter to win for the third time in four games.
Anthony Davis exploded for 37 New Orleans points and DeMarcus Cousins piled up 26 with 13 rebounds.
The Pelicans have lost two in-a-row to drop a game under .500 through 31 games.
