The New Orleans Pelicans and Nike unveiled the team's fourth uniform Wednesday.
The "City Edition" features a Mardi Gras-inspired color scheme, which the Pelicans have worn in the past, though this this time around, the design is slightly different.
"The New Orleans Pelicans City Edition uniform celebrates the vibrant life of NOLA during Mardi Gras. Bold colors represent power, faith and justice, and 'dancing' numbers reproduce the city's energy," said a press release. "The neckline takes inspiration from classic Carnival ducal decoration."
The Pelicans are back from their Christmas break Wednesday night to face the Brooklyn Nets at the Smoothie King Center. Coverage in the New Orleans area starts at 6:30 p.m. on News Talk 99.5 WRNO.
