The upcoming Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans is expected to have a statewide economic impact north of $200 million.
An official with the annual event says excitement is high for the New Year's Day clash because the winner will advance to the College Football Playoff National Championship game to be played January 8th in Atlanta.
The matchup involving Clemson and Alabama kicks off at 7:45 New Year's night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
