Louisiana is experiencing a cold wave that's not expected to end its freezing-cold stay until the weekend.
Residents are waking up today with temperatures ranging from the teens to the 20s. And, that's not even factoring in the wind-chill factor, which can plummet what cold really feels like even lower, in some locations to near zero.
Some communities have opened warming centers for those trying to escape the deep freeze and the dangers posed.
