A firefighter whose complaint against St. Tammany District 12 Fire Chief Steve Krentel sparked an investigation is now under investigation himself.
The New Orleans Advocate reports that Tom Williamson has been placed on paid administrative leave for alleged insubordination and slanderous comments.
His attorney calls it retaliation for Williams' allegations against Krentel of theft and having an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate.
