Passengers in New Orleans and Baton Rouge hoping to head to Houston Tuesday on United Airlines were greeted with news that their flights had been cancelled.

United flights to and from Houston were cancelled due to severe weather, according to a post on fly2houston.com.
In all, the Houston-area airports were dealing with over 500 cancellations combined.
