(Courtesy FOX 8/WVUE) Due to the water pressure issues and boil water advisories on the East Banks of Jefferson and Orleans Parishes and in St. John the Baptist Parish, Catholic schools in those areas will remain closed Friday. St. Anthony Catholic School in Gretna will also be closed. The system closures will affect Catholic elementary and high schools only on the East Banks of Jefferson and Orleans Parishes and in St. John the Baptist Parish.
Parents of students enrolled in Catholic Schools on the West Bank of Jefferson Parish should be reminded that there will not be any public transportation Friday.
