While most people in Louisiana are likely thinking about how to avoid getting the flu and about the always manic Super Bowl coming up on Sunday, others may be relieved to know they can finally file their taxes.
The season for that officially got underway Monday for both the filing of state and federal returns. The state deadline is May 15th, while the federal deadline this year in April 17th.
