State police will no longer be relying on marked patrol cars in their work to keep Louisiana's highways safe.
Officials announced this week that their fleet of cars will now include Dodge Chargers, both unmarked and semi-marked.
The vehicles are hitting the road this month, giving troopers a better opportunity to blend in with other vehicles on the road as they seek out aggressive, impaired or distracted drivers.
