The Pelicans split a quick two-game weekend road trip.
Jimmy Butler scored 30 points as the Timberwolves pounded out a 118-107 victory over the Pelicans in Minneapolis. Karl-Anthony Thomas had 22 points and 16 rebounds for his NBA-leading 47th double-double. Minnesota extended its home winning streak to a dozen games.
Anthony Davis scored 19 of his 38 points in the first quarter for the Pelicans. Nikola Mirotic had 18 points and 12 rebounds in his New Orleans debut after being acquired in a trade with the Bulls.
Friday night, Davis exploded for 43 points to help lead the Pelicans past the Thunder, 112-100, at Chesapeake Energy Arena. In the fourth quarter, Davis nailed a fade away jumper to become the Pelicans' all-time leading scorer.
E'Twaun Moore chipped in with 26 points for New Orleans.
Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook notched a triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists, while Steven Adams added 23 points.
