A 16-year-old boy is facing charges after allegedly firing several shots into the air as the Knights of Chaos passed by, one of three Mardi Gras parades in the city last night.
New Orleans police responded to the scene quickly and took the boy into custody.
There were no injuries, but people ran screaming upon hearing the gunfire near the intersection of St. Charles and Calliope.
