The Pelicans dropped 46 points in the first quarter as they pounded the Lakers 139-117 in New Orleans.
Anthony Davis piled up 42 points and 15 rebounds in the win. He shot 15-of-18 from the field. Jrue Holiday added 24 points and 11 dimes in an easy win for New Orleans.
Rajon Rondo and Isaiah Thomas were ejected in the first second quarter after a brief tussle. Lakers head coach Luke Walton was also ejected in the second half.
Kyle Kuzma finished with 23 points off the bench as the Lakers dipped to 23-and-33.
