Jefferson Parish is banning short-term rentals in residential areas.
The Parish Council voted unanimously last night to ban short-term rentals in residential areas and industrial districts They're allowed in commercial areas, but the council has passed several regulations.
Property owners already providing short-term rentals are being given time to stop their business.
