A Tangipahoa Parish School Board member is continuing to draw fire after posting a picture of a noose on Facebook.
Quite a few folks have called for Mike Whitlow's resignation, but he said at last night's board meeting that he wasn't prepared to do that.
He says there was no racial motive for the posting, rather that it was a message of him being upset about recent attacks on innocent people and his support of tougher sentencing for violent offenders.
Whitlow deleted the picture after a flood of criticism.
