NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -
Administrators at KIPP Renaissance High School announced that the school will be closed on Tuesday due to threats made to the school on social media. Both school officials and the New Orleans Police Department have launched investigations into the matter.
School officials say the closure is out of abundance of caution and includes classes and after school activities. The closure also affects Bard Early College.
Anyone with information that could help with the investigations are asked to call the New Orleans Police Department.
