Jrue Holiday connected for 30 points as the Pelicans whipped the Mavericks 126-109 in Dallas.
Nikola Mirotic had 24 points, while Anthony Davis contributed 23 points and 13 rebounds as New Orleans won its eighth straight.
Dirk Nowitzki scored a season-high 23 points for the Mavs and moved past Elvin Hayes for eighth on the NBA career-list for field goals. Dennis Smith Junior also scored 23 points for Dallas.
The Mavs have dropped 17 of their last 21 games.
