A Louisiana man described by law enforcement as a "domestic extremist" and who describes himself as a "sovereign citizen" is facing charges both here and in Missouri.
Officers arrested convicted felon Phillip Guidry on Saturday in Ponchatoula during a traffic stop on an out-of-state gun charge.
A search of Guidry's home in Loranger, that police describe as a "fortified residential compound," resulted in six additional weapons charges against Guidry.
