St. Tammany Sheriff: Carjacking Led To Killings

Two people are dead and four others are facing possible life prison terms as the result of what the St. Tammany Parish sheriff says was a "carjacking gone bad."

At a news conference yesterday, Sheriff Randy Smith says Reagan Day and her friend, Dustin Hartline, were shot in the head February 15th.  Their bodies were found Monday in Day's 2011 Camaro that was recovered from the East Pearl River.

Four suspects arrested Tuesday are each charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
