The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will be minus one of its scheduled headliners this year.
The management team for 75-year-old singer Aretha Franklin says her doctors have ordered to "stay off the road and rest" for at least the next two months. The specific health reasons were not divulged.
She was to have performed on April 28th, the opening weekend of this year's Jazz Fest, but Rod Stewart will take her spot.
