A funeral mass will be held at noon today in New Orleans for 90-year-old Tom Benson.
The business and sports icon who owned the NFL Saints and the NBA Pelicans died late last week following his hospitalization last month for flu-like symptoms.
Public visitations held in the chapel at Notre Dame Seminary the last two days drew hundreds of mourners who wanted to pay their last respects.
Benson's funeral at St. Louis Cathedral is by invitation-only.
