A massive transportation plan proposed by Governor John Bel Edwards is moving forward.
The Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget approved it Monday and it'll now go to the State Bond Commission.
Edwards' $600 million plan would direct money toward work at Interstate 10 and Loyola Drive just north of the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
Most of the money is earmarked for work in Baton Rouge on Interstate 10.
